I just recently found some information that is very interesting- to me at least.
Spaceship combat WILL be available to players. Here's a tasty little quotey: "Space combat is an alternative gameplay experience to the primary game of storytelling, questing, and ground-based combat. In space combat, you fly your personal ship to various “hot spots” on your galaxy map. From there, you will blast your way through asteroid fields, enemy fighters, frigates, destroyers, and a variety of other obstacles that will evoke memories of some of the great Star Wars™ space battles". I think these hotspots will probably be the only areas that are actually 'flyable' with the spaceships but I hope I'm oh so terribly wrong.
Also only just recently found out that there will also be many NPC companions that will gather with the players as they progress through the storyline (Varied Companions for each class), these NPCs will apparently be similar to the ones that are gathered in the original KOTOR 1 & 2 storylines. They will act as followers that can offer special skills based on their class and will have their own individual personalities that can develop over time to be good friends, enemies or lovers to the player character (like KOTOR!).
If anyone else knows any good information on this game then share it with the rest of us (Or just share it with me if no one else is interested).
